Join the Jolly Jeepers for a weekend of fun, trails and comradery in the beautiful Tillamook State Forest!
Every year the Jolly Jeepers celebrate the enjoyment, thrills and recreation of low gear by hosting a rally for one hundred 4x4 enthusiasts of all levels. New friends are made and old friends connect while we exercise our vehicles and relax our minds. After years of experience we know without a doubt that it's always better when we're together
Big, beautiful campsite
Our Rally campsite is a private forest-protected area on the north side of Route 6, eight miles east of Tillamook. We have an open mowed grass field for large setups and a treed area for tents and pop-ups. Most folks arrive on Friday night to setup – everything from luxury motor homes to "bivy sack under the rig."
Supportive groups
Trail groups are organized with the help of our experienced members and input from you on your interest and experience-level. Every rig joins a group of about 10 (give or take) and each group includes a JJ member lead and tail gunner for navigation and safety.
Challenging trails
Trails are as diverse as our groups and adequately challenging for all levels -- from bone stock showroom with a new driver to custom built and ready to rock.
On Saturday morning we head off into the forest to explore the trails and obstacles. Our leaders assist through obstacles or point out the often available by-pass for drivers who wish to avoid it. Typically, groups stop at a scenic spot to eat lunch while enjoying the majesty of the Pacific Northwest.
Fun, friendship and good food
Groups usually start arriving back at the campground around 4pm where the Jolly Jeepers cooks are busy preparing a delicious dinner for the crowd. After dinner every registered adult will receive a door prize and we will conduct a drawing for the big top three. The grand prize is usually a winch donated by our friends at Warn.
And yes, we do it again
On Sunday morning, after enjoying the Jolly Jeepers-supplied pancake breakfast, groups head back into the forest to tackle more trails. Everyone returns in the early afternoon with enough time to packup camp and leave no trace of our weekend behind.
